Oh. My. God. Hate my life. Hate making decisions. Hate.

Attention other drivers
Today it was wet and foggy and dark. Please turn on your lights when you drive in weather like this. I would like to be able to see where you are so that I am not there at the same time.
Thank you.

...on the Feast of Stephen
Singing at Midnight Mass was anticlimactic. Frankly, we sucked. Well, I didn't suck, but other people did, thereby making us suck. Good thing I get paid either way.
To those of you that I called all sad and mopey on Christmas, looking for help and sounding all sad and mopey on your voicemails: Sorry. I was sad and mopey.
"But, why?!?!" you might ask, "You love Christmas so very, very, very, very, astronomically much."
Well, friends, for Christmas I got ditched. I finally broke down and called FakeMom and BestBossEVER! after 12 other people did not answer.
On the plus side, I spent Christmas with BestBossEVER! and FakeMom.

Christmas
!!
I am apparently typing in Hindi. Wtf, Toi, W. t. f.
OMG!
It's Christmas here! Everyone liked the presents that I got them. Yay!!
Pomme is going to cut my hair. If she sobers-up...and stops hurling. Just saying...
In any event, I love Christmas. I am sooooooooooo glad that I am here, because I have learned so much!!! I learned that I am a good friend. I have learned that I have had the longest relationship among my group of friends. Most importantly, I learned the "Jump!" dance from Love Actually. Yay!
In other news, I am very, very, very, very sad. But I don't want to talk about it. Still processing.

Perks of living in Michigan
I am getting paid right now. Like...right this second, as I sit in bed, having slept in. Getting paid. Oh happy day.
I love snow days.
Potential downside: cleaning off my car tomorrow.

4 things
1. MMM hates me, as I discovered in a conversation with $port today.
$port: Are you coming on Thursday?
Me: Apparently not...
$: Oh. Why not? Why do you hate me?
Me: Well, I didn't say that...uh...you're crying tears of pain now, please stop it.
$: I'm not really hurt, I just thought you'd come with MMM and I.
Me: Still don't know where we may or may not be going...
$: To see the advance screening of Marley and Me. She said she asked you.
Me: This is starting to sound like the time that she was supposed to ask me to go to the Fray...
::I tell him the story of when MMM forgot to invite me to roommate bonding night of fun. She forgot to ask me and I had no idea what was going on and I though they were talking in code until they were are getting ready to leave and I asked where they were going...and then M.O.L.E. yelled at her::
$: I guess MMM just sucks at life.
Apparently so...
B. No, 2.I applied for a youth parapro position. This is basically a librarian without a degree, so for less pay than a librarian, but more pay than I get now. In the "youth" part of the job, I would do Babytime, which is like storytime, but for babies. I almost didn't apply. BestBossEVER! and MissM and AuntieV and $port and even DaBoss were all of the "why wouldn't you?!?!" opinion. Because it's good experience. And I would get paid more. And I'm qualified and stuff...They all were like, okay apply now! We'll miss you when you go to other branch!
But, see, the thing is, I don't*want* to be a youth librarian. Don't get me wrong, love staring at little kids in thier cuteness, but I don't want to be a stage performer, even if I am goo at it. Ugh...
3...or C. Christams this year sucks. I do believe that the highlight of this Christmas shall be the work party or midnight mass. Note that neither has anything to do with my family. We aren't doing anything for Christmas. I don't get presents because my family is being stupid and not in the Christmas spirit. Merr. Or Maybe the highlight will be the par-tay at Toi's. I still really, really, REALLY want to go to Bronners, but if no one has time when I have time, that is understandable. Maybe next year.
4 or D or that little "iv" in parenthesis that they sometimes use in footnotes. I am ready for a new year of fewer shananigans. Also, boy is taking me to lunch on Friday. If it's a regular thing, is that weird? Also, is it weird that he desperately wants to meet BestBossEVER!? and that whenever he comes in to visit me at work, BBE! is not at work? This makes boy noticably upset. He once accused me of fabricating BBE!
Bonus points to the person who gets my allusion!

Yaaaaaay!
For those of you who do not religiously follow my facebook page, I am the proud owner of a 4.0 GPA!
To make matters even more exhilarating, I even got one A+
::and there was much rejoicing in the land::
To make matters even more exhilarating, I even got one A+
::rejoicing ensues; a drunk stupor falls upon all those in the land::
Now I can just kick back, relax, and freak out about all of the Christmas shopping that I have not started. Wait...something is wrong here...
Dammit Universe, why do you hate me so?

The Bard
No, not Shakespeare: Beedle the Bard. Apparently he has tails.
So, lavishly doting Grandfather asked if I would be interested in the Collector's Edition for Christmas.
I feel guilty saying "yes" becuase it's a lot of dollars and I would be quite happy with the standard edition.
Tell me what to do...

...my head hurts
Last night, I stayed up until 2 am to find the last of my 20 resources.
Today I got up at 7:30 am.
I **just** finished a 17 page paper of hate and anger. It took me so long because over the past week as I've been scouring databases and the interwebs for obscure articles that I could use, I neglected to read them. Not that I read them today. Let's face it, we all know that I just skimmed looking for good quotes.
Now I need to start work on the exam. It shouldn't be that hard, as I already pulled the notes that I will need to answer the 15 questions. Doesn't sound bad, friends, but each answer must be 250 words. No more. No less. Grrr.
And then I need to write a faux grant proposal. I'm saving that for last because I presume it will take the least amount of brain power.
All of this needs to be done by 6pm tomorrow when I set off to teach my children. This means, of course, that I will not be planning a lesson. Whatever...we will just talk about the nativity and the 12 Days of Christmas (yes, it has religious meaning...) and how Mary is pure and innocent.
Okay, I think I have no more time left to procrastinate/gather my strength.
Since yesterday was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Marko quote:
Everyone is born with original sin. You all understand that, right? Okay, you've got this? EVERYONE. Except Jesus. And Mary. And Aussie. Okay, but eeeeveryone else--

...
I enjoy the use of the elipses. It expresses me. Because in those three simple periods, there is power.
I can judge you...
Stare blankly...
Hesitate...
...Make a decision.
Or just...exist.
So what if you have to figure out what I mean...I think you're all smart enough to figure it out.
